Financial Analyst

Provide pricing and profitability statement support and guidance to sales and upper management.

This self-motivated individual will provide support for, but not limited to, the following areas:

  • Provide customer specific pricing using Excel-based income statement templates to sales management for assigned customers, channels, and/or geographies.
  • Provide support for new and ongoing products; specifically list pricing, customer specific pricing and analysis.
  • Prepare Cognos-based financial statements for assigned customers, channels, and/or geographies on a quarterly basis, or as needed.
  • Use Excel-based templates to provide pro forma financial statements, including but not limited to, modeling future state and alternative price scenarios.
  • Provide support to sales management for promotional opportunities.
  • Develop pricing for multiple distributors in “bidding” scenarios.
  • Provide financial analysis within projects teams as assigned.
  • Coordinate with other areas of the Company to ensure timely accurate information as required for assigned duties.
  • Interpret, evaluate, coordinate, and communicate pricing related information for the purpose of customer level profitability decision making.
  • Maintain and update standardized pricing contracts.
  • Create and maintain all customer incentive contracts.
  • Research and provide resolution for Incentive program discrepancies, deductions and errors.
  • Provide support and guidance for continued program and incentive database integrity. This includes enforcement of all internal policies & procedures related to profitability and program regulations.
  • Provide critical and timely reports concerning incentive program activity.
  • Provide key sales reports internally and to customers when needed to reconcile rebates and incentive transactions.
  • Coordinate with other areas within Finance to ensure timely accurate program accruals and program payment transactions.
  • Interpret, evaluate, coordinate, and communicate program-related information for the purpose of profitability and program decision-making.
  • Facilitate and implement year end program reviews (may require travel).
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • 2-5 years of corporate finance or corporate accounting experience
  • Experience with product pricing and financial statement analysis preferred
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and knowledge of multiple software and business data systems
