WernerCo has announced the donation of $10,000 to Joshua’s Haven City Mission, a homeless shelter that provides food, temporary shelter and supportive services to adult homeless men.

Donation to be Presented at Grand Opening of New Building

Greenville, PA – WernerCo has announced the donation of $10,000 to Joshua’s Haven City Mission, a homeless shelter that provides food, temporary shelter and supportive services to adult homeless men. The shelter, located in Sharon, Pennsylvania, has offered temporary emergency living quarters to homeless men for more than six years and has been supported by local organizations, like Werner Co. through monetary, product and service based donations.

“On behalf of the employees and management of Werner Co., we take great pleasure in presenting Joshua’s Haven a gift that will support their new building and help people in need for years to come”, said Geoff Hartenstein, Executive Vice President at WernerCo.

Grand Opening Event Details:

Based on a need to house more homeless people, a new building has been constructed and the Grand Opening and ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on December 6, 2015. The festive event will include a tour of the new building, a Chinese Auction Fundraiser, live music, door prizes and a spaghetti dinner. The event will be held from 1:00 to 5:00pm at the new home of Joshua’s Haven City Mission at 1230 Stambaugh Avenue, Sharon, PA. Donation for the dinner costs are $8 for adults and $6 for children and seniors.
